Apple iPad Apps

If you search for iPad Apps you can already find a few hundred available. Just a few of them include the Apple iWork, Twitterific for the iPad, Reuters News Pro for iPad News, and Fieldrunners for iPad Games.

Right now, you can choose from over 150,000 apps in the App Store including entertainment apps, productivity apps, social networking apps, games, and more. iPad works with almost all of them. So if you already have apps for your iPhone or iPod touch, just sync them to iPad from your Mac or PC. They run in their original size or you can expand them to fill the iPad screen.

Most of the apps are $10 or below and of course there are many free of charge too. The prices of some are a bit more expensive than iPhone apps, but by no great amount. You will need to install iTunes 9.1 in order to download the apps. You’ll get an alert telling you to update if you try to download with anything less.

Tap the App Store icon on your iPad, and you can download apps wherever you are. Browse a section of the store that features apps designed specifically for iPad. You’ll find hundreds that make the most of its large display, responsive performance, and Multi-Touch interface. Or browse iPhone and iPod touch apps. No matter what you need, there’s bound to be an app for it.
