Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony said today he or she would "take a real hard look" at signing the three-year, $65 million contract extension together with the particular Nuggets if he's not dealt by the actual Feb. 24 trading deadline.

The actual Nuggets have had the actual contract extension about the table since June. This may be the first time since this individual was offered the contract that Anthony said publicly he or she might sign it.

Talking this morning after the particular team's shootaround, Anthony brushed away recent reports that this individual might be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.

"I've never heard of that. That was any new one," Anthony said.

"It is actually what it will be. Everyday will be something different. I guess now may be the Lakers."
