Twin Cities Marathon

The 29th annual Twin Cities Marathon will be taking place this Sunday, October 3 in Minnesota. It is known as "the most beautiful urban marathon in America".

The 26 mile footrace will lead off near the HHH Metrodome in downtown Minneapolis, and finish up at the State Capitol building in Saint Paul.

There are very large crowds required to attend the annual marathon. City contrivers anticipate around 300,000 peoples to be on hand to watch the race. The course includes mostly plane and rolling terrain, and a very scenic view of lakes, trees and rivers.

The marathon will begin at 8:00 AM and conclude at 2:15 PM. Any racers who end after 2:15 will not be considered "official finishers". The 6 time of day time limit will allow racers to average up to 13:44 per mile.
