Apple TV

Apple TV is a digital media receiver made and sold by Orchard apple tree. It is a little form factor net gizmo contrived to play digital content starting from the iTunes Store, Netflix, YouTube, Flickr, MobileMe or any Mac OS X or Windows computing device running iTunes onto an enhanced-definition or high-definition widescreen tv. Apple TV can operate as a dwelling house theater-connected iPod device or a digital media receiver.

Apple announced the device's existence in September 2006 and began sending it the pursuing March. This initial interlingual rendition sent with a 40GB hard disk ; a second, 160GB version started out shipping two calendar months later. Since the launching, sales events appear to have grown : in the fourth quarter of 2008, sales were treble that of the fourth quarter of 2007.On September 14, 2009, Apple stopped the 40GB modelling.

On October 29, 2009, Apple updated the OS to rendering 3.0 to better accommodate wide screen video displays, improve iTunes integration, and stream cyberspace radio content.

On Sep 1, 2010, Steve Jobs denoted a smaller version of Apple TV that allows users to rent moving pictures and TV shows and stream telecasting from their computers.
