Temple Grandin

Temple Grandin herself was on hand, along with her female parent, to watcher the near expanse for her namesake HBO film that came through top made-for-TV movie along with succeeding for Claire Danes' lead performance, for directing, and for the supporting public presentations of Julia Ormand and David Strathairn. Winner Danes assembled the media backstage and said, "We worked very hard to tell a consistent, weighty floor that charted Temple's trajectory and ontogenesis... It was so special that her female parent and she were here tonight." She also admitted that she's never had a greater challenge as an actress. "I ; ve never worked harder on a performance, which was just epic in its CRO. And I ; ve never been ore inspired by a character I've played. I was deep displaced by Temple's courageousness and resourcefulness, and the way she was such a pioneer in fauna rights and beast skill. She encouraged unbelievably positive change in the world. I don't expect to have anoither opportunity to play a character lke this anytime soon." .

A triumphal Temple -- having already emotionally hugged producer Emily Gerson Saines during the accolade acceptance -- said of Saines, "I dead knew a ma would do it right." Saines herself added, "It's really wondrous to be here tonight. We go for this movbie educates very much of peoples about autism. There are still a lot who don't understand it." Observed Grandin : "Claire Danes just fundamentally became me in the 1960s advertizement '70s." Added conductor Mick Jackson, holding his own Emmy for the night : "Temple was just so fascinated by Claire's performance it was quite something.
